Hi,

it would be really cool if we could get mockups for the requested
features. Skimming the bug and attachted screenshots in question i
can't really imagine how this should work for AbiWord (talking about
gtk).

Apart from that it's rather likely that i'll implement a refined
version of my own ideas (posted to the list some time ago) if i'm not
convinced otherwise (once glade-ification of all the dialogs like tabs,
paragraphs ... is done).

May I point out that Lotus Notes is a very different beast than Lotus

WordPro (formerly AmiPro, formerly Samna Ami, the very first word

processor for Windows). I haven't used the product personally but have

been told it is a pretty good word processor. Judging from the

screenshots of the style palette in that bug, I believe it is a much

friendlier approach to styling than what Abiword currently offers.
