It's a hack to make sure that the symbol is defined in
the AbiWord executable. Else, there's a good chance
that the linker (or strip) will strip it out, since it
isn't used in Gnome builds. Since the plugin requires
this function's presence in order to function
properly, we need to make sure that it's defined in
AbiWord.
If you can think of a better way to do it, that would
be much appreciated.
