Input regarding dependencies requested

Hiya ants! As we near the 2.5.0 development release, I'm working on
getting all my ducks (ants?) in a row on Windows. Specifically, I'm
looking to make sure we're using the best version of dependencies (which
are now used in the core of the program) that are available. The
following libraries have an updated version available compared to the
one that has been in use on the nightly builds up to this point. If
anyone has any specific experience or recommendation about these
libraries, please let me know - I am inclined to use the latest
available otherwise.

Library Name - Version In Use - Latest Version - source
libbzip2 - 1.0.3-1 - 1.0.4 - http://www.bzip.org/downloads.html
(Note: bzip2 may be dictated by the version used by the libgsf binary -
there was a problem here in the past. I think we're actually using the
one from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=23617
right now.)
glib - 2.10.3 - 2.12.7 - http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/downloads.html
libgsf - 1.14.1 - 1.14.3 -
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/binaries/win32/libgsf/1.14/
libxml2 - 2.6.26 - 2.6.27 - http://www.zlatkovic.com/pub/libxml/
libpsiconv - 0.9.6 - 0.9.8 -
http://software.frodo.looijaard.name/psiconv/download.php
(Note: We're actually not packaging this at the moment, but it may be
feasible again since bz2abw is no longer a plugin, see
http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9420 . There is a mild
hack that was necessary for 0.9.6, I will test and see if it still is
needed.)
NSIS (Installer) - 2.19 - 2.22 - http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page
(This is not really a dependency for the program, but it is for the
installer.)

Thanks for any input you can provide!
