I totally agree that insert table is really hidden from the user.
On the other hand I think it would be better to group menu entries by
object rather than by action (like "File", "Table" and the new
"Collaborate").
In my opinion this leads to more obvious lines of thoughts for the users, e.g.
<<hmm, i need a table, let's look under "Table">> vs.
<<i need a table, this is an insertion operation, surely it must be
under "Insert">>
