2.8 release tracking

Hi,

I have created a meta bug for the 2.8 release tracker. This track
*blockers*. Blockers are goals set for the release.

Feel free to discuss or add bugs you think MUST be done for 2.8

Qualifies:
-missing core things (like the annotation dialog on windows)
-serious regressions
-crashers in the new features
-some bug to insure gets triaged
-Maemo meta bug (one still to be done)
-JPEG support (bug #1349) - which despite being a feature, shouldn't be
long to implement as it is.

The goal is not add work but more to make sure we don't lose things that
are essential.
