Haiku like AbiWord has again been accepted into Google Summer of Code.
One of the project ideas Haiku has listed is to bring the port of
AbiWord up to date on Haiku, perhaps using the native BeAPI for the
GUI. A project for this has been started on OSDrawer.net, but it
seems to be based on an older version of AbIWord. I'm not sure how
much has been done on the code at OSDrawer as I just started to look
at it recently. Anyways, just wanted to give a heads up that this
project might get a student this summer.
