Personally, I think using country codes in most cases leads to
duplication of work, with one being behind the other. It seems it would
make more sense that when dialects are mutually intelligible the
translators should pull their resources together to create a complete
version that all speakers would at least understand rather than
incomplete versions that differ per country.
