Dear all,
Today I found a message to propose the removal of
ABWOutputDev from poppler library. The routine is
used by the plugin to import PDF document. If it
is removed in future release, the plugin may require
legacy poppler library.

The background of the proposal is that ABWOutputDev
has been unmaintained for 1 or 2 years. It seems that
the original author Jauco Noordzij and later maintainer
Dominic Lachowicz had lost their interests (or sufficient
time) to maintain it anymore.
Is there anybody who are interested in the maintenance
of ABWOutputDev?
ABWOutputDev seems to be derived from HTML output of
the poppler, so, if the import via HTML (converting
PDF to HTML by pdftohtml, then import the converted
HTML) is sufficient for the users, the removal of
ABWOutputDev won't be so vital issue.
