The original bug, 12588, is now fixed.
If you have a different abw file that does not work please create a
new bug report. Getting complete compatibility with all types of word
processing files is tricky and different files give different results.
Also could please test with version 2.8.6 of abiword and version 3.3.3
or later of LibreOffice?
