Is this still busted? If so, the fix might be as easy as a makefile tweak.
We have two copies of the dictionary in CVS -- one for each "end". When
making distributions, the right one should get chosen via the OS_ENDIAN
switch, which gets set in the following platform-specific makefiles:
abi/src/config/platforms/*.mk
