I think AbiWord is great and it's probably gonna make a few ppl think
twice about OpenSource
if they haven't already. Many "Thank you"'s to all of the developers
and AbiSource.com !!
I'm not a great programmer myself but there is a few things I would
like to see in the next
version fo abiWord: smaller buttons in the toolbar (looks more
professional), new installation
program for win32 (i want to select the directory name and also be
able to type the full path,
and additionally there is a few windows to much.. all that clicking is
making the installation
phase abit boring.. hehe). also; is there any ideas of a fourth
text-alignment-mode ? i'm missing
the onle that makes every line equal length (from winword etc).
insert/overwrite modes with small
indicator fields in the statusbar. also (for old dos-programmers) it
would be nice to be able to
cut-paste with ctrl-insert and shift-insert... and the most important
thing; when you paste stuff it's always in 'times new roman' (this
makes the program quite useless for now.. :-o)
Happy hacking.. :-) when (and if) I learn to program for real I will
surely join this crusade.
