I guess what I was trying to express was that our fonts just happen,
today (March 26th, 1999) to be full of GhostScript fonts, but at
some time we might add more, remove some, change the mapping, etc.
I don't have any immediate plans to do so, but I know this will
happen before 1.0. Because not everyone has a T1 at their home
(including me), I try to make changes to the font archive a very
rare occurance. Of course, anyone can keep any old set of fonts
they wish to have, and if the fonts.dir is also safe, AbiWord
should always work with that collection.
