I'll defer to Shaw on this (as he made the change, IIRC) but we don't ever
use that copy of libpng, on linux at least. If we did, I might have found
the bug already. As it is, that source is ignored totally, even if libpng
is not on the system. I believe that this is because when compiled with
that source, AbiWord didn't work. Of course, I may be totally wrong about
this.
