One of the signs that an Open Source project is really starting to scale up
is that patches start getting reviewed and applied by a variety of
developers. As people take ownership of areas of the code (Joaquin for
GNOME, Justin for Word, Henrik et al for i18n, etc.), it's a lot easier for
them to judge patches in those areas than it is for anyone else.
This is a very, very Good Thing, and I'm thrilled to see it happening for
AbiWord. There's so much good work happening these days that distributing
the workload like this really helps everyone out. (It sure helps me!)
However, I do want to remind everyone that new patches may also need to
include an update to the CREDITS file, too.
This isn't a big deal -- except when we forget to do it. :-)
