These seem like the basic elements of an automatically numbered outline,
and are probably the most basic of the projects described here. For
ideas, you should probably look at the list patch (which also does
automatic numbering) that has been kicking around the list for a while.

This is a significantly more complicated aspect of your plan. As it is,
our support for custom styles is not as strong as it could be, let alone
automatic application of those styles. Thus, this seems like an
additional project.

This sounds very neat, but is again very ambitious, and could probably be
tied to a more general system of allowing hyperlinking in abiword
documents. Thus, this should probably be done seperately.

everything you propose sounds very interesting, and very exciting. I
would love to see it in abiword, and I wish you loats of luck, and I am
