HI Guy,
I haven't forgtotten you but I realized I have to ask you a
question. DId you install abi from an official abi rpm? Did you build it
yourself? Are you running on Linux or Windows?

I haven't looked at your fonts either. Frankly I don't know if I'll get
the time to look at them. The fonts must be of Type 1 and you need both
*.pfa and *.afm files.

If you are on a Linux machine and this is all OK you need to put your
fonts in the directory /usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts and edit the
fonts.dir file. Include your new fonts in the list. You need to change
the number at the top of the file to include your new font description.
You have to include normal, bold, italic and bold-italic files. If you
don't have these, never-mind just put in duplicate entries. Copy the way
"Standard Symbols" is defined ESPECIALLY the "font-specific" encoding at
the end of the list.

I agree that this is all riduclusly complicated. Hopefully this can be
fixed.

Regarding your spell crash, this is fixed in the latest CVS abi...

Good Luck!

Martin
