Just wondering, why did you build a version with expat and another
with libxml? I'm all for flexibility, but there are lots of more
things that could have been varied between binaries like GNOME
support. There is no user-visible difference between expat and libxml,
except binary size (using libxml makes the binary smaller since it is
a shared library). I would think that libxml support would be the
undisputed standard for any distribution that includes libxml2 ;-).

Just FYI, I changed the environment variable controling the use of
libxml2 from ABI_OPT_GNOME_XML2 to ABI_OPT_LIBXML2, since there is
nothing gnome-specific about libxml. You'll want to keep this in mind
when you build debs of the abiword 0.7.12 packages that will come out
any day now.

Thanks,

Aaron Lehmann
unofficial libxml2 support developer :)
