Not at all - it would mean loading all of Gill into memory,
which is MUCH larger than our existing stuff. That, and it only
works for Gnome - not any other flavor of Unix, let alone Mac,
Windows, BeOS, etc.

Yes, we display PNG's natively - thats our native format for
bitmap images...It wouldn't save us any blits.
