Darren,

The version of AbiWord in Debian (woody) is 0.7.8. 0.7.10 is now out.
Could you plese update it in the distribution?

Also, AbiWord has a GNOME frontend as well as a GTK one. Perhaps
eventually these should be available by splitting up the package into
abiword-common, abiword, and abiword-gnome packages like X-Chat's debian
package.
