When I changed lots of booleans to UT_Error, Paul created a macro called
E2B to fix some bang semantics problems. However, the use of E2B masks
lass of useful information. For the discussion on this, see

In view of this, I have attached a patch the removes all of the occurences
of E2B, except for three, where returning a boolean is neccesary.
This patch doesn't _do_ anything with the information, but I'll take care
of that soon.
