Robert,

I believe that the author of the QNX port is working on the slow
scrolling. It is definately a big annoyance and it makes it a hard
descision for me about whether to use LyX or AbiWord for a particular
project (I have been using AbiWord recently :-) ).

When I was poking around looking a the focus stuff, I found the code that
would probably cause this problem. I think it was in
EV_UnixToolbar::synthesize, using GdkRGB (?) for the colormaps. I might
look into it myself if I find the time this weekend.
