AbiSuite install fails

I thought I sent this message in to this list but I haven't seen it
show up yet, so I'll try again. As you can see from the original below
that I am unable to get AbiSuite installed. I have since tried to make
it work by installing older versions of gtk, all to no avail. I have
tried gtk+-1.2.2, gtk-1.2, and I don't remember what all, plus
glib-1.2.7 because one of the gtk installs said it needed that. Anyway,
I am no close now than I was before, and what kind of mess did I make
of my installed gtk files?
I am running FreeBSD 3.3-release.
