Jamie's fix to prevent the hang (massive delay, actually) likely
introduced the crash for image input. He commented out a valid line that
was being used in an invalid way as a result of my mistakes in the AbiWord
importer. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I know what's all wrong so I'll try to
fix it tonight and hopefully all of these docs should import properly
again.
