Until I end up defining a non-microsoft standard for word processor
interoperability, RTF is by far our best canditate. AFAIK, every platform
out there supports it (witness the clipboard). If we create these scraps
(which are necessaily not appliable to X, at least for the most part) RTF
is the best format.
