I have made another clean build from uptoday sources and it (the
Encoding manager?) still does not work. Apparently, AW is not
able to load fonts from the locale specific subdirectories. Things
are messed up even on the en_US locale, but because one does
not need to load any extra fonts, it still works.

Please have a look at the debug messages after the line "DEBUG:
Encoding Manager builded", the various paths reported are messed
up, even strings for en-US 'translation' are reported missing. Could
anyone please verify this, in case I am doing something wrong.
