I thought I'd bring this to the general attention and see whether it will
quickly go down in flames or not :-)
The idea is to isolate 'core editing functions' (whatever that will prove
to be) in order to have a lite version of Abi that people could use as an
*editor*. This way, Abi would broaden its target application area to the
class of editors as opposed to word processors.
