   I fixed this a couple weeks ago, but unfortunately you won't have the
fix unless you compile using the code from CVS. :)

   Your options to solve this problem are:

   1. Grab the patch and apply it to the 0.7.12 sources. The patch is at:

   2. Find an older version of CygWin (older than 1.1.6 or 1.1.5, I
believe)

   3. Install CygWin (not the Abi sources, CygWin) into a root diretory.
I don't believe it has to be a real root directory; you can probably
create a fake drive using the subst command and install CygWin on that
"drive".
