There is something wrong with the document you sent me, none of
the characters in it are Russian, with the exception of 1 comma
and one exclamation mark they are all from the Unicode range
0x00c4 - 0x00f0, which contains various accented latin characters.
When I open it both under Windows and under Linux these chars
display correctly, but it is not Russian.
When you open this document in Linux, do you see Russian? If
yes, then I suspect that your locale might not be setup correctly --
it would seem that you are running iso-8859-1 'pretending' it is
KOI8-R. From the point of view of 8-bit applications this would
make no difference, but it would be a problem with AW.
