I think this means you will have a new tree for the new abiword.

I think that specially after so much debate, no new features should be
added, even if as plugins :)
Thought for the future: use more shared libraries instead of making one
single binary app, so that plugins may be developed without having the
whole abiword tree (just having some .so's to links and the header files
somewhere (abiword-devel, for instance).
