In defense of what I suggested... everything but the final content
should be a container (NOTE: this is an intentional exageration).
If you take that approach, you can do almost whatever you want with the
content (think gtk+ where almost everything is a container, so you can
have a whole window as the content of a gtkbutton, for instance).
Why not have columns within columns? I see that everyday in newspapers!
Most specially, columns crossing more than one column!
