A while ago I produced some introductory doc on translating meant as a
supplement to what abi web pages say on that. Since then, I have been
slowly preparing to produce a more comprehensive doc on 'l10n in abi',
together with some fixes to the existing scripts (or at least pinning
down all the problems with them so that others could target those
problems if I can't).

I still need a while to complete that, cause I need to meet (or miss) some
other deadlines first, and I'm a bit ill and very weary, and I'd rather
treat this as pleasure than yet-another-bloody-deadline :-) As soon as I
have some digestible sketch of that ready, I'll post a link to it so if
you're willing to wait for that and send me comments/corrections, I'm sure
that we can all cooperate to produce some nice documentation for
translators.

And BTW -- this whole thing originated in correspondence with Jared Davis,
and I'm still not 100% sure if I can just grab this little project for
myself without getting a blessing/permission from some Doc Guy -- I had an
impression that David Chart targets a different area and that I'm not
messing with his work here, but if there is someone who'd rather do it, or
who is doing it, please tell me so that I can devote my time to e.g. bug
hunting or getting on with my translations. (How's that for a nice short
sentence?)

In the meantime, thanks for turning my attention to a problem I haven't
thought about yet:

Will try to fix that if no one beats me to it.

Best,
Piotr
