System: Win95 OSR2 Russian
Version of Abiword: 0.9.6-1
Language of document - Russian
Original document format - abw
Target formats are: Word-doc8.0; RTF for old apps
If you need those files - I can send them to you.
Annotation: koi8-r encoding was used to provide examples of text originally
written in russian.
Bug is specific to cyrillic texts. (I've checked this).
Bug was tested only with version for Windows.
May be I need to contact some Russian Abiword developers to solve this
problem?
Here is the demonstration:
(documents were opened in Abiword and convertion was performed through
"File"->"Save Copy" and "File"->"Save As" with identical result)

Annotation: converting to usual RTF is working for tested text.
PS: extension of document wasn't changed automatically then I've changed
document format (is it bug or there are no such feature).
PPS: I'm new to this list. Please correct me if I'm doing something wrong.
