Okay, I agree. It puzzled me yesterday, but presumably one is allowed to
specify -ve offsets to lseek?
BTW, of the 4 docs Vladimir sent me, all 4 import fine (albeit with lots
of circles - font problem?) but sometimes I get crashes trying to import
more than one of them...
o add offset when seeking from end (c. row: reverts lvm)
