It would us if a windows developer or someone with a non-xft build could
tell us the state of the printing on their platform. My investigations so
far point to a bug somewhere in the fl*layout classes but I haven't found
it yet.
So windows/non-xft developers, what is printing from HEAD like on your
platforms?
Please try to print table as well as regular text.
