    If you've been paying close attention you'll have noticed that XAbiWord
    releases have not matched other releases exactly...

    XAbiWord is a pain to build, usually requiring a large patch to build it
    as a library rather than as an executable. Certainly it requires several
    hours of careful thought & monitoring, so you can understand why I am so
    tardy. (I haven't built AbiWord-for-X11 on my Mac in months.)

    Does anyone know what version fink-unstable distributes?
