AbiWord has had its own CVS and site since it had started. Originally,
AbiWord was a public project started by the SourceGear coroporation.

Maintaining your own box definitely has its advantages. We have LXR,
Bonsai, Tinderbox, a Twiki, and a host of other things that would
either be annoying or impossible to do through SF.net

We mainly "abuse" SF for their bandwidth and host our release downloads.

SF.net is a brilliant and wonderful service, and I thank them for all
of the resources they provide to the community at large. However, one
size does not fit all. Sometimes it's best to mix and match services in
order to achieve the best results for our developers and users alike.
