This is the "lock styles" request by Bryce. It was
largely implemented by myself and Bryce. Much of it
existed in the codebase before 1.0 was released, and
this makes the rest of it work.
What is "lock styles"? It disables all "basic"
formatting options so that the only way you can change
formatting is through changing a paragraph's or run's
Style. The idea is to enforce meaning and consistency
through making it hard, if not impossible, to apply
simple formatting options. For example, "bold, 14pt"
doesn't have any meaning. "Heading 1", on the other
hand, does.
