    I'm not familar enough with gnumeric to know. I suspect you get most of
    this for free if you use gtk2.2/pango for onscreen rendering. The problem
    right now would be printing. We use our own ps generation code to print
    scalable fonts. I've heard that fc was going to be in gnome-print Real
    Soon Now for quite a long time. I guess we should ask Chema how
    gnome-print2 is coming along.
