Right. Writing this I didn't know about the 'AbiWord --dumpstrings' method for
obtaining a full set of English strings. It's usefull when you have
AbiWord installed - starting with translation. If you want to work on
"fresh" strings you have to use information from xap_, ap_strings.id.h.

Right. It's usefull. I have tried this. But now I prefer editing
.strings file by hand. Its syntax is simple, and (most usefull) I can
work with running AbiWord and _see_results_ of translation just after
translation.
