Don't know why we don't draw the selection background
when we're not focussed. Seems stupid to me, and
inconsistent with every OS out there.
Our selected text, at least on GTK+ with most themes,
changes color based on whether the widget/window has
focus or not. This is a huge improvement over our
existing situation.
I don't think that this commit breaks anything.
