    You'd probably be hard-pressed to find a font that *doesn't*
    contain « and ». They're part of ISO 8859-1.

    And a font that doesn't contain them wouldn't be of any use for
    writing French text anyway (as it probably wouldn't contain é and
    other non-ASCII ISO 8859-1 characters commonly used in French).
