statically linking plugin .o files?

    So all the plugins define the plugin API functions. How then do I manage to
    link against several plugins' .o files when they multiply define the API
    functions?I know I'm missing something dumb, like "-DNO_PLUGIN_FUNCTIONS=1",
    but a look at the various macros in use just made my head hurt.
