I'm the "maintainer" of that stuff and haven't gotten deeper to the
reverse engineering. And I'm not sure if I'm still allowed to do so
given my current employer. I did officially request such a document.

I was aware of that, but given the non functionnal state of the
importer I did not care much. I wrote that on PPC hardware :-)
I understand that the code appears to be written for v5 of the file
format, and the

Both file format differ. I did work on v5, not v6
