Remove the ucs2 string classes, as they're just unused

Fix some signed-ness warnings

Fix some edit method signatures

Some speedups for win32 save/restoreRect

New idea: perhaps save/restore Rect are ok, but
drawing of lines is broken. Could test easily with
tables, underline, strike.
