You are probably using the autogen.sh build of wv. (Make sure you cvs
update wv to get yesterday's fix for iconv detection in configure.ac.)
libwv.a is built in a different place (wv/.libs/libwv.a) and abi can't
find it - apply the attached patch (to abi) if you're determined to
build this way.

Otherwise - delete wv and get a fresh checkout. I think Dom reverted
the build system (temporarily?).
