    I do want to point out the problems of clarity with the various gui's for spell checking here (hence the dual sending).

    If "cancel" is to continue this way, particularly in English, it should gain some ability to undo changes. "Close" would make more sense.

    I'm also sending the Balsa's way on reference to something this reminded me of, the "Cancel" option in the spell check interface. When I first used Balsa, this was a big burn, finding that hitting Cancel meant to discontinue writing the message.

    Back to both (and probably all software), semantics will always be the biggest usability issue.
