Ideally there should be an option somewhere (in Abiword.Profile should be
enough) becase as far as I remember Microsoft Word lets you choose.

Some users have an odd habit of naming files the same thing (or very
similar things) but creating lots of different directories so they do
actually want the path to be shown as it helps disambiguate similar files.

(It seems I'm just repeating what is in the bug report, <sigh>).
