this check already exists, it's called ABI_HASHMAP and is implemented
inside ac-helpers/abi-mathview.m4. Funny that it's not working (for
you...)

I agree, although if it's public there might be a reason which I don't
recall right now. Can you please tell me where the HashMap.hh file has
been included from? I don't happen to have my working AbiMath repository
at hand at the moment...
