There's already a patch in head that deals with it similarly, on unix.
No unix-fe platform should be using any build system other than the
autoconfiscated one. If anyone's build is broken as a result, please
file a bug. It's what we're waiting for when we do not backport patches
until after they've been publicly released and out in the wild for a
while, bug reports.
