ATTN: AbiWord v2.2.9 Released

AbiWord v2.2.9 Released

Another AbiWord cleanup release is ready for general consumption. The
fun stuff is really happening in the AbiWord 2.3.x development series,
but those are not production ready yet.

This release is a bugfix release only, and contains a number of
important fixes for Mac OSX users. The changes from 2.2.8 to 2.2.9
include, amongst others:

Fix crashes on startup experienced by some users (Mac OSX)
  * Optimize memory usage and fix memory leaks (Mac OSX)
  * Fix random page size changes when using more than one column

Except for the Mac OSX version, no major errors have been fixed. We
strongly advise Mac OSX users to upgrade to this latest release, while
we encourage users of other operating systems to upgrade too.
